Message to All Food Establishment Operators

The West Virginia Legislature recently adopted the 2013 FDA Food Code made pursuant by WV Legislative Rule Title 64, Series 17. Changes will take effect on July 1, 2019.  The Upshur Buckhannon Health Department is advising all food establishment operators, including temporary vendors and catering services, to review this version of the Food Code along with the amendments made by the WV Legislature.  Legislature Rule Title 64, Series 17 can be found on the WV Secretary of State’s website: http://apps.sos.wv.gov/adlaw/csr/rule.aspx?rule=64-17
